# Rate Limiting

Requests to the API are rate limited per integration to \~2-3 requests per second.

When sending any request to the API, your code should check if the HTTP response code is [429](http://blink.readme.io/v2/error/429). If this is the case, you should wait 1 second before attempting the request again.
